Hartley R. Nathan, QC

Hartley is a partner of Minden Gross LLP, Toronto, practicing in the areas of Corporate and Commercial law, with emphasis on corporate governance matters. He has lectured at Osgoode Hall Law School in Real Estate Law and Corporate Finance and currently is a seminar leader in Business Law at the Bar Admission Course in Toronto. He is a frequent participant in programs conducted by the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada and was a member of the Executive of the Business Law Subsection, Canadian Bar Association (Ontario). He also co-authored a textbook on Company Meetings in Canada, published by Carswell, is Editor-in-Chief of CCH: The Directors' Manual, and edited Wainberg’s Company Meetings 4th Edition for CCH.

Greg Warren

Greg Warren is a technology and professional services executive as well as a corporate lawyer.   For the past seven years, Greg was the Chief Operating Officer of Snowbush Microelectronics, a leading semiconductor design firm that provides specialized engineering services and licenses of pre-developed intellectual property for use in semiconductor products.   Greg also established the Centre for Innovation Law and Policy, a $20 million teaching, research and policy advisory centre at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law focused on law and technology.   Prior to Snowbush Microelectronics, Greg was a law partner at Torys, where he advised technology, engineering and financial services companies in the area of corporate finance law.

Vito Galloro

Vito is Executive Vice President of Royal Alliance Incorporated, a joint venture with Royal Group Technologies. Royal Alliance manufactures and distributes plastic products to the industrial and retail industry in North America, under the brand name, Royal Injection and Gracious Living. Since 1986, Vito has been involved in the management and investment-side of many private and public companies.

Laurence Goldberg

Laurie is an experienced business lawyer and business principal. Until joining CarbonFree, Laurie practised for a number of years with Lang Michener LLP, a prominent Canadian law firm. Prior to Lang Michener, Laurie was a founding partner of a technology boutique law firm, spent four years practising law in Europe (based in post-revolutionary Prague, and also London) and served as associate commission counsel to a Government of Canada Royal Commission. Laurie is also an experienced investor and advisor to a number of private companies involved in a range of business sectors.

Laurie was called to the Ontario Bar in 1985. He holds an LL.M. (London School of Economics), Certificate in Air and Space Law (University of London), LL.B. (Osgoode Hall Law School/York University) and a B.A. (University of Manitoba). Laurie is a director of a number of private companies and is the vice chairman of the board of AMREF Canada (African Medical & Research Foundation).

Andrew Tanenbaum

As Vice-President of Sales at AIMTrimark Investments for the past ten years, Andrew was responsible for a department that generated over $50M of gross revenue for the firm with $1.5B in assets and over 1000 customers.  Andrew has developed an expertise in customer development, retention and consultative business building solutions.  Andrew is also active in his family’s private equity investment company having participated in a number of financial transactions including management buyouts, special warrants, convertible debentures, initial public offerings, angel and early seed capital investing. In 2005, Andrew and his family, including three boys under the age of six, traveled the world, visiting seven countries and learning Spanish over a ten month period.
